The Qu-7 is the largest model in Allen & Heath’s next-generation Qu range, offering 32 onboard mic preamps, 20 XLR line outputs and 33 motorised faders across 4 customisable layers, all powered by the 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine shared with the SQ series. It handles 38 inputs to mix (32 mono/linkable plus 3 stereo), 12 mixes, 4 matrix outputs and 6 multi-FX engines with dedicated stereo returns, with DEEP processing readiness for boutique compressor and preamp emulations. A 32×32 USB-C audio interface, 32-channel SD card multitrack recording, and simple USB-A stereo recording cover capture and playback needs. The zero-latency, 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer suits large conferences and panel events, while the SLink port allows further expansion via Allen & Heath’s Everything I/O remote stage boxes.
