Allen & Heath XB-14-2 10-Channel Compact Broadcast Mixer

The XB-14-2 is a compact analogue mixer purpose-built for radio and podcast broadcast applications, offering 4 mic/line channels with DuoPre preamps, high-pass filters and 3-band EQ, plus 4 dual-source stereo channels with 2-band EQ for music and playback sources. Two dedicated Telco channels allow phone callers to be brought into a broadcast, each with adjustable high-pass and low-pass filtering to clean up call audio, a selectable clean-feed output, and a Talk button for off-air communication with callers. A dedicated Audition bus lets the operator preview or record sources without affecting the live program output, while fader-start sensing and automatic speaker muting help prevent feedback during live presentation. The built-in full-duplex USB sound card supports recording, playback and VoIP streaming on Mac and Windows, and with 27 logic I/O points plus remote mute and CD transport control, the XB-14-2 is well suited to self-operated community, internet and small commercial radio studios.
