Allen & Heath Qu-5 38-Channel Digital Mixer (17 Fader)

The Qu-5 is the smallest model in Allen & Heath’s next-generation Qu range, built on the 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine that also powers the SQ series. It offers 16 onboard mic preamps, 12 XLR line outputs and 17 motorised faders across 4 customisable layers, retaining the Qu series’ renowned walk-up-and-mix simplicity while adding more flexible routing. The mixer handles 38 inputs to mix (32 mono/linkable plus 3 stereo), 12 mixes, 4 matrix outputs and 6 multi-FX engines with dedicated stereo returns. Recording and playback options include a 32×32 USB-C audio interface, 32-channel multitrack support via SD card, and simple stereo recording via USB-A. A zero-latency, 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer and DEEP processing readiness round out the feature set, with the SLink port allowing expansion via Allen & Heath’s Everything I/O ecosystem.
