Allen & Heath SQ-7 96kHz 48-Channel Digital Mixer (33 Fader)

The SQ-7 is the largest console in Allen & Heath’s SQ range, built around the 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine for high-resolution audio with latency under 0.7ms. It offers 32 onboard mic preamps and 33 motorised faders across 6 layers, giving access to up to 192 assignable channel strips. Each input has a high-pass filter, gate with sidechain, 4-band parametric EQ and compressor, while 8 stereo FX engines with dedicated returns provide access to the RackExtra effects library. SQ-7 includes 12 stereo mixes plus LR, making it well suited to in-ear monitoring, and a built-in Automatic Mic Mixer simplifies conferences and multi-mic speech events. A 32×32 USB interface supports multitrack recording and virtual soundcheck, and SQ-Drive allows direct recording to a USB key. The SLink port allows expansion up to 48 mic inputs via Allen & Heath’s Everything I/O range, and an I/O option card slot supports Dante, MADI or Waves networking.
