Allen & Heath SQ-6 96kHz 48-Channel Digital Mixer (25 Fader)

The SQ-6 sits between the SQ-5 and SQ-7 in Allen & Heath’s SQ range, built on the same 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine for high-resolution, low-latency audio. It provides 24 onboard mic preamps, 25 motorised faders across 6 layers, and 16 SoftKeys plus 4 Soft Rotaries for quick access to frequently used functions. Every one of the 48 input channels has a high-pass filter, fast gate, 4-band parametric EQ and compressor, and mixes benefit from both parametric and 28-band graphic EQ. SQ-6 includes 8 stereo FX engines with dedicated returns and the RackExtra effects library, plus a built-in Automatic Mic Mixer for conferences and panel discussions. A 32×32 USB audio interface enables multitrack recording, playback and livestreaming, and the SLink port allows expansion up to 48 mic inputs via Allen & Heath’s Everything I/O expanders, with an I/O slot for Dante, MADI or Waves cards.
