The CQ-12T is the smallest model in Allen & Heath’s CQ range, offering 10 mic/line inputs (5 XLR and 5 XLR/TRS combo) plus a stereo line input, all running through a 96kHz FPGA audio engine with studio-grade processing. A 7-inch touchscreen with rotary control and 3 assignable SoftKeys make setup and mixing quick, while Quick Channels offer instrument-specific one-knob processing and Complete Channels give full manual control over EQ, gate and compression. CQ-12T includes a Gain Assistant for automatic preamp setup, a Feedback Assistant for problem-frequency suppression, and 2 onboard FX engines. It functions as a USB audio interface for recording and streaming, supports SD card multitrack recording and playback, and offers Bluetooth stereo input. The free CQ MixPad app gives remote mixing control over a network connection, making CQ-12T a strong fit for home studios, small venues, rehearsal spaces and speech applications.
